I have Windows 8.1 running with Hyper-V. I have Win7 installed in a VM, very simple. In Hyper-V settings I checked the box Allow enhanced session mode .In the VM settings (with the VM OFF) I then selected Integration Services, and checked the Guest Services box (actually all boxes are checked).. 10/29/2015  · Enhanced Session Mode is enabled in the Hyper-V Settings for the Server, The Hyper-V Settings for the User, and in the VM Settings (enable Guest Services under Integration Services) I am guessing this last setting is the one you are missing. By default, when using Hyper-V on Windows 8.1 and 10 it should be on. It is off by default with Server.

I thought something was off and then I noticed that enhanced mode wasn’t on at all, and it is greyed out in the menu. It is enabled in hyper-v settings. I only found results about enhanced session crashing, but mine’s not on at all.
