No, this doesn’t work. It may show that the Spotify app is running, but it doesn’t show any song info and other premium users aren’t able to listen in. Open Discord settings through the cog in the bottom left of the application; Click User Settings > Connections and look for the Spotify logo; Click Login to Spotify and allow access for your account’s connection to Discord ; Once connected, you’ll see a confirmation in the browser and in the Connections tab of Discord Settings, You’ll have to confirm that you want to connect your Spotify account to Discord. You can choose to toggle your Spotify name on your profile, and to toggle displaying Spotify as your status!, What happens is that Discord will display what I’m listening to for 1-5 tracks then randomly stop. There’s no way to get it to display music again unless I do the following: 1.) log out of both apps. 2.) completely uninstall and reinstall both Discord and Spotify . 3.) log back into both apps. 4.) reauthorize Discord connection to Spotify .

I’ve been having this problem for a while. I linked my Spotify to discord because my friends and I like to share music with each other, and do listening parties. I made sure that everything was switched to display what I was listening to, and it is currently listed as a connected app. However, it doesn’t work. I have never gotten it to work.
